The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), within the scope of the BIOTA–FAPESP Program, the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) and Smithsonian Institution invite you to the

WORKSHOP BIODIVERSITY and BIOBANK

FAPESP - Rua Pio XI, 1500 – São Paulo

The objective of this workshop is to map Brazilian Biological Collections willing to join the initiative of Global Genome Biodiversity Network (GGBN) and Earth Biogenome Project (EBP). Identify number and location of Biobank needed in Brazil, understand the new Law of Biodiversity Access in Brazil and funding agencies willing to support the initiative.

The result of the workshop will advance the participation of Brazil in the Earth Biogenomic Project (EBP).
