The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) launches a call for collaborative research in conjunction with the Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA) of Colombia. This is the first call for proposals under the cooperation agreement signed between the two institutions, signed in March 2019.

The opportunity is open to researchers linked to higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo, on the one hand, and to researchers affiliated with the Universidad de Antioquia on the other. The call covers all fields of knowledge and aims to promote and strengthen collaboration in basic and applied research.

The projects should be elaborated jointly between researchers from São Paulo and UdeA. Proposals must be submitted exclusively via the SAGe platform (www.fapesp.br/sage) by March 13, 2020 and should follow the standards and conditions of the Regular Research Grants (www.fapesp.br/apr) modality.

FAPESP participates in the call making available up to R$ 200,000.00 per approved proposal. The institutions will focus on those projects that present proposals with a high degree of feasibility, potential for dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge and that brings a component of innovation at its core, among other evaluation criteria.

Call for proposals is available in www.fapesp.br/13818.
