FAPESP and Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin), from Germany, maintain a scientific and technological cooperation agreement that provides for the financing of joint projects and the exchange of knowledge and results between researchers from the state of São Paulo and those linked to the German institution.
The activities mentioned in the second clause may be developed, in principle, in all areas of knowledge. Areas of interest may be specified jointly by the appointed Steering Committee, in the calls for research proposals.
