  • Resumo Summary

    O Laboratório de Biologia Molecular e Celular do Departamento de Neurologia da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo está selecionando um bolsista de Pós-Doutorado para desenvolver projeto de pesquisa associado ao Projeto Temático FAPESP #2013/02162-8.

    O projeto visa a análise de alterações epigenéticas com abordagem de sequenciamento em larga escala, em doenças neurodegenerativas e tumores do sistema nervoso central, com validação dos achados em modelos celulares.

    Candidatos deverão ter fluência no inglês falado e escrito, com domínio na área de biotecnologia, técnicas moleculares e celulares, incluindo sequenciamento de nova geração. Adicionalmente, deverão saber trabalhar em grupo e ser capazes de co-orientar alunos de iniciação científica e/ou pós-graduação.

    The Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Department of Neurology, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo is selecting a postdoctoral fellow to develop a research project associated with the Thematic Project FAPESP #2013/02162-8.

    The project aims to analyze the epigenetic alterations by high throughput sequencing in neurodegenerative diseases and brain cancer, with in vitro validation.

    Candidates should have background in the area of biotechnology, molecular and cellular techniques, including next generation sequencing. Fluency in spoken and written English is desirable. Additionally, candidates should know how to work in groups and be able to co-supervise undergraduate and/or graduate students.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6.819,30 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
