  O grupo de Singularidades do Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação da Universidade de São Paulo (ICMC-USP) em São Carlos abre inscrições para uma Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado em Teoria de Singularidades, com duração de 24 meses e possibilidade de renovação por mais um ano.

  As atividades de pesquisa estão relacionadas ao Projeto Temático da FAPESP “Novas fronteiras na Teoria de Singularidades” (processo 2019/21181-0), sob a coordenação da Professora Regilene Delazari dos Santos Oliveira, e serão realizadas no ICMC-USP.

  A pesquisa será supervisionada pela professora Maria Aparecida Soares Ruas e se concentrará na investigação de “Superfícies com singularidades não isoladas”.

  Esta oportunidade está aberta a candidatos de qualquer nacionalidade. O candidato selecionado receberá uma Bolsa FAPESP de Pós-Doutorado no valor de R$ 8.479,20 mensais e um fundo de contingência para pesquisa, equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa que deverá ser gasto em itens diretamente relacionados com a atividade de pesquisa. A implementação da bolsa está condicionada à aprovação do candidato selecionado pela FAPESP.

  The group of Singularities of the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICMC-USP), in São Carlos, Brazil, welcomes applications for a two-year post-doctoral position in Singularity Theory, with the possibility of an extension for one more year.

  The research activities are related to the FAPESP Thematic Project “New frontiers in the Theory of Singularities” (process 2019/21181-0), under the coordination of Professor Regilene Delazari dos Santos Oliveira, and will take place at ICMC-USP in São Carlos.

  The research will be supervised by Professor Maria Aparecida Soares Ruas and will focus on the investigation of “Surfaces with non-isolated singularities”.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of BRL 8,479.20 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity. The implementation of the grant is subject to the approval of the selected candidate by FAPESP.
