  1. DAS INSCRIÇÕES

  2. DA VAGA
 
  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. A oportunidade está inserida em um projeto temático que tem como objetivo principal investigar os efeitos da defaunação em cascatas tróficas.
 
  
  
3. DOS REQUISITOS PARA O CANDIDATO
 
  O candidato à bolsa deverá atender aos seguintes requisitos:

 
  

a) Ter doutorado;
 
  b) Ter pelo menos 3 publicações em periódicos internacionais JCR>1.5;
 
  c) Possuir currículo que demonstre capacitação para atuar no desenvolvimento do referido projeto;
  d) Possuir experiência comprovada em análises estatísticas de ecologia de comunidades, a ser avaliada por sua formação acadêmica e publicações científicas;
 

  e) Ter disponibilidade para viagens a campo;
  
f) Residir na cidade de Rio Claro, São Paulo, durante a execução do referido projeto; 
  g) Possuir experiência e habilidade para realizar atividades de rotina no laboratório e auxiliar na supervisão de alunos;
  h) Ter fluência em inglês e disponibilidade para realização de atividades no exterior; 
  
i) Dedicar-se integralmente e exclusivamente às atividades do projeto de pesquisa; 
  j) Estar apto a iniciar as atividades tão logo seja aprovada sua candidatura pela FAPESP;
  k) Ter defendido o doutorado antes do início das atividades do projeto. 
  
  4. DA DOCUMENTAÇÃO NECESSÁRIA À INSCRIÇÃO

  O candidato deverá encaminhar por e-mail os seguintes arquivos em formato pdf: 
  a) Curriculum atualizado;
 
  b) Carta de interesse, em no máximo duas páginas, relatando sua experiência profissional e motivações para a função pretendida; 
  c) Projeto breve (5-8 páginas) de como pretende abordar o tema. 
  
  5. DA SELEÇÃO
  A seleção do bolsista será realizada após análise da documentação recebida. Os candidatos habilitados terão seu currículo avaliado e poderão ser convocados para entrevista presencial ou virtual, mediante comunicado por e-mail. 
  
  6. DO RESULTADO 


  O resultado será enviado por e-mail até 15/08/2015.

 
  
  7. DA BOLSA

  8. DO INÍCIO DAS ATIVIDADES 


  O candidato selecionado deverá estar apto a iniciar as atividades tão logo seja aprovada a sua candidatura pela FAPESP.

 
  
  9. DAS DISPOSIÇÕES GERAIS

  1. APPLICATION

  2. THE VACANCY 
  The vacancy is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The opportunity is part of a thematic project that aims to investigate the effects of defaunation on trophic cascades in plant-animal interactions. 
  
  3. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CANDIDATE
  The applicant for the scholarship must meet the following requirements: 
  a) Have a PhD when the project starts; 
  b) Have at least three publications in international journals (JCR> 1.5); 
  c) Have demonstrated curricular capacity to act in the development of this project;
  d) Have experience in ecology statistical analysis of communities to be evaluated for its academic and scientific publications; 
  e) Must have availability for field trips;
  f) Live in the city of Rio Claro, São Paulo, during the execution of this project; 
  g) Have experience and ability to perform routine activities in the laboratory and assist in supervising students; 
  h) Have fluency in English and willingness to carry out activities abroad; 
  i) Be committed fully and exclusively to the activities of the research project; 
  j) To be able to start operations as soon as your application is approved by FAPESP;
  k) Having defended his/her doctorate before the start of project activities. 
  
  4. THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO REGISTRATION
  The applicant must submit by email the following files in PDF format: 
  a) Curriculum Vitae; 
  b) Letter of interest with no more than two pages, describing his/her professional experience and motivations for the desired function; 
  c) Brief project (5-8 pages) of how it intends to address the research topic. 
  
  5. SELECTION
  The scholarship selection will be made after the analysis of the documentation received. The qualified candidates will have their curriculum evaluated and may be called for interview in person or virtual, through a statement by email. 
  
  6. OUTCOME 
  The result will be sent to the approved candidate by e-mail until July 30, 2015. 
  
  7. FELLOWSHIP
  The selected candidate will receive funding from FAPESP, being awarded a post-doctoral fellowship in the monthly amount of R$ 6.143,40 (~US$ 1949.00) during 24 months. More information about this fellowship is available at www.fapesp.br/en/5427. 
  
  8. START OF ACTIVITIES 
  The successful candidate should be able to start operations as soon as his/her application is approved by FAPESP.
