  • Resumo Summary

    Uma vaga de pós-doutorado com Bolsa FAPESP está disponível para trabalhar no Laboratório de Engenharia de Bioprocessos (LEBp) da Faculdade de Engenharia Química da Universidade de Campinas (FEQ-Unicamp), e no Laboratório de Desenvolvimento e Automação de Bioprocessos (LaDABio) do Departamento de Engenharia Química da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (DEQ-UFScar).

    O tema de pesquisa é: síntese, otimização e análise técnico-econômica integrada à simulação da biorrefinaria biodiesel etílico-bioetanol 1G-2G – linha de pesquisa vinculada ao Projeto Temático “Da fábrica celular à biorrefinaria biodiesel-bioetanol: uma abordagem sistêmica aplicada a problemas complexos em micro e macro escalas”.

    O pesquisador em pós-doutorado trabalhará nas seguintes atividades:

    1) Desenvolvimento e atualização de modelos utilizando a plataforma EMSO – Environment for Modeling, Simulation and Optimization (SOARES e SECCHI, 2003, doi.org/10.1016/S1570-7946(03)80239-0; FURLAN et al., 2012 doi:10.1016/j.compchemeng.2012.04.002);
    2) Simulação de estudos de casos da biorrefinaria, incluindo subprocessos de produção de produtos de alto valor, com ênfase no processo de produção de óleo e carotenoides pela levedura não-convencional Rhodotorula toruloides cultivada em hidrolisado hemicelulósico de bagaço de cana de açúcar (BONTURI et al., 10.1016/j.procbio.2017.03.007);
    3) Análise dos processos utilizando a metodologia de análise retro-técnico-econômica-ambiental (FURLAN et al., 2016, doi:10.1021/acs.iecr.6b01757; LONGATI et al., 2018, doi.org/10.1016/j.biortech.2018.04.102);
    4) Inclusão de métricas de impacto ambiental na análise reversa citada em 3).

    Comunicação entre o pós-doutorando e os diversos subgrupos de pesquisa, trabalhando em diferentes subprojetos do Projeto Temático, será parte das atividades do pesquisador, uma vez que informações fornecidas pelos pesquisadores nos laboratórios dos subgrupos e pelo grupo de simulação deve ser um fluxo contínuo e bidirecional. As simulações serão realizadas no software padrão do grupo para simulação de bioprocessos, o EMSO.

    Este programa de pesquisa requer experiência em:

    1) Simulação e otimização de processos bioquímicos, preferencialmente utilizando o simulador EMSO;
    2) Utilização de ferramentas como como SimaPro®, RenovaCalc, Excel®, Matlab®, e/ou equivalentes;
    3) Análise técnico-econômica-ambiental.

    Familiaridade com EMSO é uma competência importante, em virtude da duração da bolsa (18 meses).

    Valor da bolsa: R$ 76.960,80/ano

    Duração da bolsa: 18 meses

    Instruções para candidatura

    Os interessados nesta bolsa de PD devem enviar Curriculum Vitae em pdf de até 3 páginas (não enviar Curriculum Vitae gerado pela plataforma Lattes) até o dia 15/06/2019 (veja instruções para envio de curriculum vitae abaixo), mostrando sua experiência com as técnicas requeridas para a vaga em questão e destacando suas publicações em periódicos indexados.

    E-mail para submissão de candidatura: everson@unicamp.br

    O assunto da mensagem tem de ser “seu nome_PD - Biorefinery 05-2019”, com um arquivo anexado em pdf de não mais que 2 MB.

    A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 15% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

    One post-doctoral position is open to develop research in Brazil. The selected candidate will work at the Bioprocess Engineering Laboratory (LEBp) of the University of Campinas’s Chemical Engineering School (FEQ/UNICAMP), and at the Bioprocess Development and Automation Laboratory (LaDABio) of Federal University of São Carlos’s Chemical Engineering Department (DEQ/UFScar), located respectively in the cities of Campinas and São Carlos, São Paulo State. The opportunity features scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

    The research topic is: synthesis, optimization and technical-economic analysis integrated to the simulation of the biorefinery biodiesel ethylene-bioethanol 1G-2G. This research line is affiliated with the FAPESP Thematic Project “From the cellular plant to the bio-refinery biodiesel-bioethanol: a systemic approach applied to complex problems in micro and macro scales”.

    The post-doctoral researcher will work in the following activities:

    1) Development and updating of models using the EMSO platform – Environment for Modeling, Simulation and Optimization (Soares and Secchi, 2003, doi.org/10.1016/S1570-7946(03)80239-0; Furlan et al., 2012, doi:10,1016/j.compchemeng.2012.04.002);
    2) Simulation of biorefinery case studies, including subprocesses for the production of high value products, with emphasis on the process of oil and carotenoid production by the unconventional yeast Rhodotorula toruloides grown in hemicellulosic sugarcane bagasse hydrolyzate (Bonturi et al., doi:101016/.procbio.2017.03.007);
    3) Analysis of the processes using the methodology of retro-technical-economic-environmental analysis (Furlan et al., 2016, doi: 10.1021 / acs.iecr.6b01757; Longati et al., 2018, doi.org/10.1016/j.biortech.2018.04.102);
    4) Inclusion of environmental impact metrics in the reverse analysis cited in 3).

    Communication between the researcher PD and the various research subgroups, working on different subprojects of the Thematic Project, will be part of the activities of the researcher, since information provided by the researchers in the laboratories of the subgroups and by the simulation group should be a continuous and bidirectional flow. The simulations will be carried out in the standard software of the group for simulation of bioprocesses, the EMSO.

    This research program requires experience in:

    1) Simulation and optimization of biochemical processes, preferably using the EMSO simulator;
    2) Use of tools such as SimaPro®, RenovaCalc, Excel®, Matlab®, and/or equivalents;
    3) Technical-economic-environmental analysis. Familiarity with EMSO is an important competence due to the duration of the scholarship (18 months).
