  O Laboratório de Metabolismo Ósseo da disciplina de Reumatologia da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, oferece 1 vaga de Pós-Doutorado (médico, farmacêutico, biólogo, biomédico ou áreas afins) com Bolsa FAPESP vinculada ao projeto “Avaliação de Parâmetros do Metabolismo Ósseo por HR-pQCT e Histomorfometria em Pacientes com Artrite Reumatoide e Artrite Idiopática Juvenil: Associação com Variáveis Clínicas e Genéticas” (processo nº 2016/00006-7). 

  A vaga destina-se à área de genética, com ênfase em análise de transcriptoma e técnicas de bioinformática. Os candidatos deverão ter título de doutor com amplo conhecimento e experiência em biologia molecular, análise de transcriptoma e processamento de dados utilizando-se softwares específicos.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 15% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa. A bolsa exige dedicação exclusiva (40 horas/semana) e terá a duração de 24 meses.

  The Rheumatology Division at the Medicine School of the University of São Paulo, Brazil offers one post-doctoral research position aimed at physicians, pharmacists, biologists or with a background in biomedical related areas). The scholarship, which  requires exclusive dedication from the grantee (40 hours/week) and has a total duration of 24 months, will be funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

  The selected candidate will conduct the research project entitled “Evaluation of Bone Metabolism Parameters by HR-pQCT and Histomorphometry in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Patients: Association with Clinical and Genetic Variables” (grant number 2016/00006-7).

  The opportunity is in the area of genetics, with emphasis on transcriptome analysis and bioinformatics. Candidates should have technical knowledge in RNA extraction, transcriptome analysis, and data processing using specific software. It is required a doctoral degree for Brazilians or an equivalent degree for foreigners.

The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
