  • Resumo Summary

    O CEPID "Center for Computational Engineering and Sciences" da Unicamp busca candidatos bem qualificados a bolsa de pós-doutoramento para atuar na área de mecânica computacional, com ênfase em otimização topológica de estruturas e materiais.

    O objetivo principal desse projeto é contribuir para o avanço dos métodos de otimização topológica de estruturas e materiais em problemas multifísicos.

    Os candidatos devem ter doutorado na área de Mecânica Computacional e interesse científico em simulação e implementação de métodos numéricos para análise e otimização de materiais, estruturas e sistemas acoplados, tais como vibracústicos, fluido-estrutura e poroacústicos.

    A posição está aberta para início a partir de outubro de 2015. Os candidatos deverão enviar os seguintes documentos para o Prof. Renato Pavanello (pava@fem.unicamp.br):

    1) Carta de motivação;
    2) Curriculum Vitae, apresentando a formação acadêmica, publicações e informações que comprovem a experiência científica na área do projeto.

    The Center for Computational Engineering and Sciences (CCES) from Unicamp seeks well qualified researchers for post-doctoral fellowships to work in the field of computational mechanics with focus on topology optimization of structures and materials.

    The main objective of this project is to contribute to the advance of the topology optimization methods of structures and materials in multiphysics problems.

    The candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Computational Mechanics and scientific interest in simulation and implementation of numerical methods for analysis and optimization of structures, materials and coupled systems, such as vibroacoustics, fluid-structure interaction and poroacoustics.

    The position is open from October 2015. Candidates should send the following documents to Prof. Renato Pavanello (pava@fem.unicamp.br):

    1) Motivation letter;
    2) Curriculum Vitae, presenting the academic background, publications and information which describes the candidate experience in the scientific area of the project.

    More information about CCES is at: http://cepid.fapesp.br/en/centro/13.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6,143.40 (around 2,600 USD) monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
