Resumo
Summary
O candidato irá trabalhar na expressão e purificação de proteases de SARS-CoV, e na construção e utilização de bibliotecas de peptídeos em sistema phage display para seleção de inibidores para enzimas de vírus SARS-CoV-2.
Requisitos mínimos:
i) Doutorado em bioquímica, biologia molecular, biotecnologia ou área correlatas, adquirido nos últimos 5 anos;
ii) Experiência em técnicas de biologia molecular, principalmente em clonagem e expressão de proteínas recombinantes;
iii) Experiência em purificação e caracterização de proteínas;
iv) Experiência em cultura de células de mamíferos;
v) Excelente capacidade de escrita em inglês para auxiliar na redação de manuscritos, experiência no exterior será considerada;
v) Os candidatos devem ser excepcionalmente motivados, capazes de trabalhar de forma independente mas com grande capacidade de trabalhar em equipe.Os candidatos interessados devem enviar para o e-mail astanaka10@unifesp.br os seguintes documentos: carta de motivação de até uma página, Curriculum Vitae, três (3) cartas de recomendação. A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 15% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.
The selected candidate will work in the expression/purification of proteases from SARS-CoV-2 and also in the construction and use of peptide phage display libraries to select inhibitors for proteases of SARS-CoV-2. The research project is based in the Medical School of the Federal University of São Paulo, EPM-UNIFESP (Escola Paulista de Medicina), in Brazil.
Minimum Requirements:
i) PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology or related field, obtained in the last 5 years;
ii) Experience in molecular biology techniques, mainly in cloning and expression of recombinant proteins;
iii) Experience in protein purification and characterization;
iv) Experience in mammalian cell cultures;
v) Excellent English writing skills for helping in manuscripts writing and experience in other countries will be considered;
vi) Candidates must be exceptionally motivated, able to work independently, but with a strong ability to work in teams.Candidates should send email by 30th June 2020 to astanaka10@unifesp.br with the following documents: one-page motivation letter, Curriculum Vitae, three (3) letters of recommendation. This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
