  • Resumo Summary

    O objetivo da pesquisa é avaliar como as lideranças políticas estão se apropriando das novas tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICs) para se comunicar com a população, tendo em vista a maior interatividade do meio digital.

    Para a realização da pesquisa serão avaliadas as lideranças políticas que utilizam efetivamente as mídias sociais (blogs e redes sociais) para interagir com os eleitores. A partir da análise, objetiva-se identificar se existe uma nova forma de comunicação entre a esfera política e a população, mais interativa e participativa, assim como a promoção de modalidades de ação política como a e-participação.

    A pesquisa visa analisar as relações existentes entre as lideranças políticas brasileiras e os cidadãos que são estabelecidas por meio da internet, mais especificamente pelas mídias sociais (blogs e/ou rede social). O objetivo é verificar se o uso da internet produz novas dinâmicas nas práticas políticas contemporâneas, identificando o uso que as lideranças políticas fazem das mídias sociais para promover suas ações, mobilizar simpatizantes e militantes, assim como aumentar seu capital político.

    A inscrição será no período de 22 de novembro de 2016 a 30 de janeiro de 2017. O processo de seleção será realizado no período de 6 a 10 de fevereiro de 2017.

    Bearing in mind the greater interactivity of digital media nowadays, the research objective consists in evaluate how political leaders are grabbing new information and communication technologies (ICT) to connect to theirs voters.

    Will be assessed the political leaders which effectively use social media (blogs and social networks) to interact with voters. The research aims to identify whether there is a new form of communication between the institutional and the public sphere; if it is more interactive and participatory as well as promoting political actions such as e-participation.

    The research aims to analyze the relationship between the Brazilian political leaders and citizens established through the Internet, specifically by the social media (blogs and/or social network). The intention is to verify if the use of the Internet produces new dynamics in contemporary political practices identifying how political leaders make use of the social media network to promote their actions, mobilize supporters and activists as well as increase their political capital.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6.819,30 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
