FAPESP opens call with the Trans-Atlantic Platform Versão em português

FAPESP opens call with the Trans-Atlantic Platform Research collaboration in humanities and social science linked to the FAPESP eScience Program will be funded

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) announces a call for proposals with the Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP), a collaboration among key humanities and social science funders in Europe and Americas.

The (T-AP) Digging into Data Request for Proposals is supported by selected funding agencies from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, The Netherlands, UK and USA.

Proposals from the State of Sao Paulo, selected in this call will be linked to the FAPESP eScience Program. The main goal of the eScience program is to encourage bold, novel, and unconventional approaches to world class multidisciplinary research that covers, among others, large-scale analysis of digital data in all fields of knowledge, including Social Science and Humanities.

Applications should be submitted as FAPESP Regular Research Awards.

Applicants must obtain from FAPESP a formal declaration of eligibility before beginning the preparation of the international project. This declaration must be requested at least 45 days before the closing date of the call. International submissions that do not include this declaration will not be considered by FAPESP.
