The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) announces the result of the third call for proposals in 2016 under the SPRINT - São Paulo Researchers in International Collaboration initiative.

The call for proposals has the purpose of promoting the engagement of researchers affiliated with higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo in partnership with researchers abroad in order to: further develop qualitatively the ongoing research projects and work cooperatively, aiming at the elaboration of joint research projects for medium and long term.

The call detailed the conditions to submit proposals for the mobility of researchers with the following institutions, which holds cooperation agreements with FAPESP: Carleton University (Canada), Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (Conicet, Argentina), Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS, Belgium), Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany), London School of Economics and Political Science (United Kingdom), National Research Foundation (South Africa), Swinburne University of Technology (Australia), Texas Tech University (United States), University of Münster (Germany), University of Surrey (United Kingdom) and University of Virginia (United States).

The call was also opened to proposals from researchers whose partners are from institutions with FAPESP does not have a current agreement.
