New Energies Research Center Workshop

The Call for Proposals for the New Energies Research Center (NERC) in the State of São Paulo comprises four research themes: Dense Energy Carriers, Advanced Energy Storage, Methane to Products, and Computational Material Science. The workshop will be focused on them, with presentations covering background information and fundamental scientific questions followed by Q&A sessions.

The envisioned Center will combine cutting-edge basic research with technological transfer and wide dissemination of knowledge. In the long run, the initiative is expected to construct a thriving environment, ranging from undergraduate students to senior researchers, that will foster the conception and development of novel ideas and ultimately support the transition to a sustainable energy future.
