FAPESP e Belmont Forum selecionam projetos em sustentabilidade urbana De 15 projetos multinacionais selecionados, cinco contam com a participação de pesquisadores do Estado de São Paulo

A FAPESP anuncia o resultado de uma chamada de propostas conjunta com o Belmont Forum, grupo de instituições de fomento à pesquisa sobre mudanças globais.

A chamada “Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative” (“SUGI”) visa reunir grupos integrados de pesquisadores das ciências naturais, engenheiros, cientistas sociais, empresas e tomadores de decisão urbanos para o desenvolvimento de projetos que exijam inovação e pesquisa colaborativa, internacional, interdisciplinar e transdisciplinar.

A chamada é apoiada por agências ligadas ao Belmont Forum em diversos países e por agências que integram o Joint Programming Initiative (JPI) Urban Europe, no total de 18 países ou regiões participantes.

A chamada financiará projetos de pesquisa colaborativos de grupos multinacionais por até 36 meses.
