Agreement for Cooperation in Research between FAPESP and The Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) Versão em português
Second Amendment to the Agreement Cooperation in Research signed on December 21, 2011 between the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), Rua Pio XI, 1500 - Alto da Lapa, CEP 05468-901 - São Paulo/SP, Brazil, represented by Prof. Dr. Marco Antonio Zago, President, and the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), 50 avenue, Daumesnil, represented by Professor Thierry Damerval, President and CEO.
Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (hereinafter "FAPESP") and The Agence Nationale de la Recherche (hereinafter “ANR”), hereinafter referred to as "Parties";
WHEREAS the Parties desire to alter, the First Amended signed on 21 December 2016 and the original Agreement started on December 21, 2011.
AGREE as follows:
1) The Implementation Plan should be annexed to this amendment, within 6 months after the signature of the amendment
2) To amend the said Agreement by changing the Section 11 stating that: “It is the understanding of both Parties that the said Agreement came into force on 21 December 2011 and, by its First Amendment, is due to terminate on 20 December 2021, unless the Parties agree to renew it. Therefore, the Parties mutually agree that the duration of the said Agreement shall be renewed until 20 December 2026.”
3) All other terms of the Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
Declared their intentions, the Parties sign this Amendment in two (2) original copies, in English and Portuguese versions, both texts being equally authentic.
This Amendment shall become effective as of the date of its signature by both Parties thereto.
This Amendment was signed on December 22, 2021.
