Sandro Cabral Versão em português
He is a Professor of Strategy and Public Management at Insper, a leading private nonprofit institution in São Paulo, Brazil, and holds an additional affiliation with the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He has held visiting positions at New York University, HEC-Paris, and EMLV-Paris.
Sandro’s research applies strategic management perspectives to address key societal challenges, aiming to benefit underserved populations while also enhancing organizational performance. His interests include identifying factors that drive successful cross-sector collaborations and improve public service outcomes.
Sandro has made significant contributions to academia, with his research published in top-tier journals, including Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Strategy Science, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and Public Administration Review, among others. He also serves as a board member for the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, and Journal of Management Scientific Reports.
His professional involvement includes serving as treasurer of the Academy of Management (AOM) public and nonprofit division (PNP) from 2018 to 2021, and subsequently as the global representative of the strategy division (STR) from 2021 to 2024. Sandro's dedication in research, reviewing, and teaching have earned him several awards.
Sandro is currently serving as an Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Perspectives and as a Scientific Advisor for the Management area at FAPESP.
