FAPESP and McMaster University announce result of call for proposals Two projects for collaborative research between researchers from Canada and the State of São Paulo were selected (McMaster)

São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the McMaster University, Canada, announce the result of the call for proposals for the exchange of researchers published by the institutions in 2012. Two proposals were selected.

The Call was open to interested researchers affiliated to McMaster University, and researchers affiliated to Higher Education and Research Institutions in the State of São Paulo, who are Principal Investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the following schemes: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, or Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (CEPIDs/RIDCs).

FAPESP and McMaster University will provide funding of up to Can$20,000 per proposal and per year (Can$10,000 from each institution) for the period established in the award, to cover reasonable research-related expenses including mobility expenses. 

FAPESP will provide the selected proposals with funds for travel (air tickets), health insurance and living allowances for researchers from the State of São Paulo visiting Canada.

McMaster University will provide the selected projects with funds for travel (air tickets), health insurance, and living allowances for researchers from Canada visiting the State of São Paulo.
