FAPESP and University of Bath issue call for proposals Research projects involving the exchange of researchers in all fields of knowledge will be supported for up to 24 months (Un.Bath)

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the University of Bath, United Kingdom issue a public call for proposals for the support of research projects involving the exchange of researchers under the Scientific Cooperation Agreement between the institutions.

The call is open to interested researchers affiliated to the University of Bath and researchers affiliated to higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo who are Principal Investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the following schemes: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, or Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centres (CEPIDs/RIDCs).

Proposals should include the names of the collaborating researchers from both the State of São Paulo and University of Bath and clearly state the mutual benefits of the collaboration.

The present call invites research proposals in all fields of knowledge. The closing date for submission of proposals is March 22nd, 2013.

The maximum duration of each project is 24 months.

FAPESP will provide funding of up to the equivalent to £5,000.00 per proposal and per year and the University of Bath will provide funding of up to £5,000.00 per proposal and per year, for the period established in the award, to cover reasonable research-related expenses including mobility expenses.
