FAPESP and CNRS announce new call for proposals Proposals for the interchange of researchers from São Paulo and France during 2014 and 2015 can be presented until January 29 (FAPESP)

FAPESP and the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, National Center for Scientific Research) announce a public call for proposals for the exchange of researchers between the State of São Paulo and France during 2014 and 2015, under the cooperation agreement signed by the institutions.

By FAPESP, can participate in the call principal investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the following funding lines: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs), and Research Partnership for Technological Innovation (PITE). Co-Principal Investigators of ongoing Thematic Projects, RIDCs and PITEs are also eligible to apply.

Applicants from France must be CNRS researchers or academic staff from other institutions involved in the project who work in CNRS-affiliated units.

FAPESP and CNRS will each provide funding of up to € 4,000 per proposal per year, for the duration of the grant to cover research-related mobility expenses.

The call invites research proposals in all fields. The maximum duration of each project is 24 months, non-extendable.

Proposals must be submitted to both parties (FAPESP and CNRS) until January 29, 2014.
