FAPESP and MATIMOP announce new call for proposals Institutions will support research innovation projects between companies from the State of São Paulo and from Israel (photo:FAPESP)

The São Paulo Research Foundation, FAPESP and the Israeli Industry Center for R&D, MATIMOP announce the second call for proposals under the agreement signed between the institutions.

The call aims to promote bilateral research and innovation projects between companies from the State of São Paulo, Brazil and from the State of Israel.

Proposals can be prepared and submitted at the Israeli side by companies performing R&D registered in Israel, according to the Office of the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Economy eligibility criteria.

In Brazil, proposals can be submitted by researchers associated to a small business (less than 250 employees) established in the State of São Paulo. Proposals submitted to FAPESP must follow the rules of FAPESP’s Program for Innovative Research in Small Businesses (PIPE).

The joint R&D project should aim the development of products/processes leading to commercialization in the global market or in Brazil.

The deadline for the full applications in on February 5th, 2015.
