Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA) Versão em português

This cooperation agreement is no longer valid.

A cooperative agreement between FAPESP and the French Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA, National Institute for Agricultural Research) has the objective of developing and funding cooperative science and technology research projects in the fields of agricultural science and life sciences. Funding for such projects is available to researchers affiliated with public or private institutions of higher education or research institutes in the state of São Paulo and to researchers affiliated with similar INRA-sponsored institutions in France.

The expectation is that these incentives will result in the dissemination of knowledge and the implementation of innovative research projects in science or technology involving university-level students, as well as in the publication of scientific articles and the generation of intellectual property, with potential for commercial application.

The agreement was signed on April 7, 2008 and is valid for a period of five years.
