Open to researchers in the state of São Paulo, call for a new Engineering Research Center will be focused on disruptive solutions in food security and overcoming barriers linked to climate change.
The new Applied Research Center’s mission is to conduct research that can provide input for public policies. FAPESP is partnering with the Maria Cecilia Souto Vidigal Foundation and INSPER to mount the initiative.
The new Engineering Research Center will be hosted by São Paulo State University’s School of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences in Jaboticabal. Its scientists will also research biotechnology and plant resistance
As one of the Engineering Research Centers supported by FAPESP, the new center will focus on R&D for next-generation deep-sea oil production systems.
