  O Centro de Ciência para o Desenvolvimento em Agricultura Digital – CCD-AD/SemeAr, apoiado pela FAPESP, abre uma vaga de pós-doutorado pelo período de 2 anos, na área de gestão de dados geoespaciais com interface para aplicação de Inteligência Artificial. O centro atua em pesquisa, desenvolvimento e inovação em soluções digitais para inclusão de pequenos e médios produtores rurais. O pós-doutorando, com dedicação exclusiva, estará sediado na Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz” (Esalq/USP), em Piracicaba.

  Buscamos um especialista em ciência de dados, aplicado à agricultura e meio ambiente, com experiência em geoprocessamento e sensoriamento remoto e Doutorado concluído nos últimos 7 anos. O candidato escolhido desenvolverá estratégias de gestão de dados (coleta, preparação e combinação de variáveis para alimentar algoritmos de aprendizado de máquina), bem como a preparação de relatórios e publicações técnicas e científicas.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 8.479,20 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The Center of Science for Development in Digital Agriculture – CCD-AD/SemeAr opens a post-doctoral position for a period of 2 years, in the area of geospatial data management with an interface for the application of Artificial Intelligence. The project aims to act in research, development and innovation in digital solutions that meet demands of digital inclusion of small and medium rural producers.

  CCD-AD/SemeAr is one of the Science for Development Centers supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in São Paulo state, Brazil. The post-doctoral fellow will be based in the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (University of São Paulo) in the city of Piracicaba.

  We are looking for an expert in data science applied to agriculture and the environment, with experience in geoprocessing and remote sensing. The candidate must have completed PhD in the last 7 years and will develop data management strategies (collection, preparation and combination of variables of interest to support machine learning algorithms), as well as the preparation of technical, scientific reports. The postdoc must dedicate his/herself exclusively to the position.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 8,479.20 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
