• Resumo Summary

  O projeto terá como objetivo descrever o sistema reprodutor em camarões Caridea por meio das famílias mais representativas do Brasil. Ao final, pretende-se compreender a história evolutiva dos caracteres relacionados a produção dos espermatóforos e transferência espermática.

  Recomendações: ter o título de doutor há, no máximo, 6 anos na área Zoologia ou afim. É recomendável no mínimo 10 artigos publicados nos últimos 6 anos referentes a biologia e/ou morfoanatomia de Decapoda; Possuir experiência comprovada por meio de publicações de artigos científicos (pelo menos cinco artigos como primeiro autor) e tese de doutoramento envolvendo técnicas de histologia e microscopia. 

  No ato da inscrição por e-mail o candidato deverá apresentar: (i) projeto de pesquisa, na temática do projeto, com no máximo 20 (vinte) páginas, em espaçamento 1,5 e fonte 12 Arial, em língua portuguesa ou inglesa, contendo: resumo, breve introdução, hipóteses e objetivos de pesquisa, metodologia, cronograma e bibliografia; (ii) Curriculum Vitae atualizado na plataforma Lattes/CNPq; (iii) Duas cartas de recomendação de profissionais; (iv) Carta contendo relato de experiência e as motivações para a função.

  A bolsa será implementada pela FAPESP e o candidato selecionado deverá cumprir as normas vigentes, bem como apresentar a documentação específica exigida.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 8.479,20 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The project will aim to describe the reproductive system in Caridea shrimp through using representative families recorded in Brazil. The proposal intended to understand the evolutionary history of characters related to spermatophore production and sperm transfer.

  Recommendations: have Ph. D degree in the field of Zoology or similar obtained within the past 06 years; at least 10 published articles during the last 06 years referring to the biology or morphoanatomy of Decapoda; proven experience through the publication of scientific articles (at least five articles as the first author) and completed a PhD thesis using histology and microscopy techniques.

  When registering by email, the candidate must present: (i) Research project related to the theme of the project of this contest, with a maximum of 20 (twenty) pages, 1.5 spacing and 12 Arial font, in Portuguese or English, containing: abstract, brief introduction, research hypotheses and objectives, methodology, schedule, and references; (ii) Curriculum Vitae (Lattes/CNPq format or similar); (iii) Two letters of recommendation from professionals; (iv) A letter containing a professional experience and motivations to the position.

  The scholarship will be implemented by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the selected candidate must comply with the FAPESP rules for PD scholarship, as well as provide the required specific documentation.

  The selected will be based in the Biology Department, Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences, São Paulo State University in Jaboticabal (Brazil).

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 8,479.20 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
