Summary
O Laboratório de Imunoparasitologia, liderado pelo Dr. João Santana Silva, está em busca de um indivíduo altamente motivado para vaga de pós-doutoramento. O Laboratório é parte do Centro de Pesquisa sobre Doenças Inflamatórias (CRID/FAPESP) e está localizado no Departamento de Bioquímica e Imunologia, na Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo (FMRP-USP). A Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) financia a bolsa e o projeto. Com sucesso, os candidatos podem ser financiados por até três anos.
Os candidatos devem ser excepcionalmente motivados, inovadores, capazes de trabalhar de forma independente e com uma configuração de equipe colaborativa. O candidato ideal deve ter grau de Doutor nas áreas de Biologia Celular, Bioquímica ou Doenças Infecciosas. Experiência prévia em técnicas tais como biologia molecular, bioquímica, ARNi e/ou SEQ ARN é altamente recomendável.
Os candidatos devem enviar, até o dia 03/07/2016, uma carta de apresentação/interesse, CV e duas cartas de recomendação para o Prof. Dr. João Santana da Silva: jsdsilva@fmrp.usp.br.The Laboratory of Imunoparasitology, leaded by Dr. João Santana Silva, is seeking for a highly motivated Post-doctoral individual. The Laboratory is part of the Center for Research on Inflammatory Diseases (CRID/FAPESP) and is located in the Department Biochemistry and Immunology, Ribeirão Preto Medical School, from the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) funds the fellowship and the Laboratory. Successfully applicants can be funded for up to 3 years.
Applicants must be exceptionally motivated, innovative, able to work independently and with a collaborative team setting. The ideal candidate must have a PhD degree and background in the fields of Cell Biology, Biochemistry or Infectious Diseases. Prior experience in techniques such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, RNAi and/or RNAseq is highly recommended.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6,143.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
