Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Organic Synthesis / Flow Chemistry

• Resumo Summary

  O projeto objetiva o desenvolvimento de metodologias sintéticas em regime de fluxo contínuo empregando sistemas de auto-otimização para a síntese de IFAs e compostos bioativos. O candidato irá colaborar com o Projeto Jovem Pesquisador FAPESP “Tecnologias Facilitadoras para a Síntese Química Sustentável de Moléculas Plataforma, Novas Entidades Químicas e Compostos Bioativos.”

  Este projeto é adequado para um candidato altamente motivado e requer habilidades em química orgânica laboratorial. Experiências em síntese orgânica, química em fluxo contínuo e proficiência em inglês são necessárias. Conhecimentos básicos de programação e experiência internacional são desejáveis.

  O candidato deve ser doutor em Química (ou Ciências), Farmácia ou Engenharia Química com experiência em síntese orgânica e química em fluxo.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 8.479,20 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The main goal of this project is to develop synthetic methodologies in a continuous flow regime using self-optimization systems for the synthesis of APIs and bioactive compounds. The candidate will collaborate with the research project “Enabling Technologies for the Sustainable Chemical Synthesis of Platform Molecules, New Chemicals and Bioactive Compounds”, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through its Young Investigator Grant scheme and hosted by the Institute of Chemistry of the State University of Campinas (IQ-UNICAMP) in Brazil.

  This project is suitable for a highly motivated candidate and requires skills in laboratory organic chemistry. Experience in organic synthesis, continuous flow chemistry and proficiency in English are required. Basic programming knowledge and international experience are desirable.

  The candidate must have a PhD in Chemistry (or Science), Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering with experience in organic synthesis and flow chemistry.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 8,479.20 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
