  O Centro de Toxinas, Resposta Imune e de Sinalização Celular, um dos Centros de Pesquisa, Inovação e Difusão apoiados pela FAPESP, tem uma posição de pós-doutorado disponível no Instituto Butantan, onde está instalado. O projeto visa a avaliação dos mecanismos farmacológicos do peptídeo TnP na terapêutica da retinopatia hipóxica em zebrafish.

  Os candidatos devem possuir doutorado em Patologia e/ou Medicina Veterinária. Ter conhecimento prévio em imunologia, estrutura funcional e principalmente utilização peixes como modelo experimental, além de experiência em cultivo de linhagens celulares de peixes e abordagem in silico. É necessário domínio do inglês escrito e falado, ser auto-motivado e ter interesse e facilidade para trabalhar em ambientes interdisciplinares.

  O candidato a Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado deve ter concluído o Doutorado há menos de 7 anos e ter excelente histórico escolar de Pós-Graduação. Não serão aceitos candidatos que já tenham gozado de Bolsa FAPESP de PD por mais de 2 anos e que não possuam artigo científico como primeiro/último autor.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 7.373,10 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The Center for Research on Toxins, Immune-Response and Cell Signaling, one of the Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (RIDCs) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), has a post-doctoral position to work at the Butantan Institute, CeTICS's host institution located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The project aims to evaluate the pharmacological mechanisms of the TnP peptide in the treatment of hypoxic retinopathy in zebrafish.

  Candidates must have a PhD in Pathology and/or Veterinary Medicine. Knowledge in immunology, functional structure and mainly using fish as an experimental model. Experience in culturing fish cell lines and in silico. It is also necessary to have a good command of written and spoken English, to be self-motivated, and to have an interest and facility to work in interdisciplinary environments.

  The post-doctoral scholarship candidate must have completed the PhD less than 7 years ago and have an excellent postgraduate academic record. Candidates who have already received a FAPESP PD scholarship for more than 2 years and who do not have a scientific article as the first / last author will not be accepted.

The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
