• Resumo Summary

  O Projeto Temático “Decodificar aspectos da biologia celular e molecular do Plasmodium como uma ferramenta para desenvolver novos antimaláricos” tem uma oportunidade de bolsa de pós-doutorado aberta para pesquisa junto ao Laboratório Genômica Funcional e Descoberta de Antimaláricos na Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas em São Paulo.

  Este projeto utiliza diversas metodologias que compõem a biologia integrativa, tais como molecular, celular, bioquímica e bionformática, além de triagem de compostos a partir de biblioteca de fármacos. O projeto busca identificar mecanismos de ciclo celular do parasita da malária com objetivo de gerar dispositivos de liberação tópica de antimaláricos.

  Os candidatos deverão ter título de doutor obtido nos últimos 4 anos em áreas relacionadas ao projeto. O(a) candidato(a) ideal deve ser motivado(a) e ser capaz de interagir com membros que desenvolvem outros projetos no laboratório.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 8.479,07 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.   We have an open post-doctoral fellowship opportunity for research within the scope of Thematic Project "Decoding the aspects of cellular and molecular biology of Plasmodium as a tool to develop new antimalarials", based in the Functional Genomics and Antimalarials Discovery Laboratory at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo, Brazil.

  This project uses several methodologies that make up integrative biology, such as molecular, cellular, biochemistry, and bioinformatics, as well as screening compounds from a drug library. The project seeks to identify cell cycle mechanisms of the malaria parasite in order to generate topical antimalarial drug delivery devices.

  Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree obtained in the last 4 years in areas related to the project. The ideal candidate must be motivated and be able to interact with other lab members' projects and work independently in the laboratory.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 8,479.07 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
