  O Centro de Referência em Inteligência Artificial (CEREIA) está realizando Seleção Pública Internacional de Bolsistas de Pós-Doutorado em Inteligência Artificial para atuação na Linha de Pesquisa “Engajamento de pacientes em programas de promoção à saúde e prevenção de doenças crônicas” (Ref. PDA1C1).

  Podem se candidatar pesquisadores brasileiros e estrangeiros que tenham obtido título de doutor há menos de 7 (sete) anos, no país ou no exterior, com destacado desempenho em área de pesquisa correlata às atividades da bolsa.

  O candidato selecionado irá contribuir com o desenvolvimento de agentes conversacionais, baseados em modelos de linguagem naturais, para apoio ao autocuidado de pacientes com hipertensão crônica e diabetes.

  Atividades: formular métodos teóricos e algoritmos de redes neurais artificiais com foco em processamento de linguagem natural; desenvolver novas metodologias baseadas na combinação de análise de séries temporais e redes neurais artificiais; e criar sistemas automatizados baseados nas novas metodologias desenvolvidas.

  A Bolsa será financiada pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) em um contrato inicial de um ano e poderá ser prorrogada por mais um ano, a depender do bom desempenho do bolsista e da disponibilidade de recursos.

  Esta oportunidade está aberta a candidatos de qualquer nacionalidade. O candidato selecionado receberá uma Bolsa FAPESP de Pós-Doutorado no valor de R$ R$ 9.047,40 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas relacionadas com a atividade de pesquisa. A implementação da bolsa está condicionada à aprovação do candidato selecionado pela FAPESP.

  The Reference Center for Artificial Intelligence (CEREIA), a Research Center based at the Federal University of Ceará in Brazil, is offering a set of postdoctoral fellowships in Artificial Intelligence. Brazilian and foreign researchers who have obtained a doctoral degree less than 7 (seven) years ago, either in the country or abroad, with outstanding performance in a research area related to the scholarship activities, may apply.

  The selected candidate in the Research Line "Engagement of patients in health promotion and prevention of chronic diseases" (Ref. PDA1C1) will contribute to the development of conversational agents, based on natural language models, to support self-care for patients with chronic hypertension and diabetes.

  Activities: formulate theoretical methods and algorithms for artificial neural networks with a focus on natural language processing; develop new methodologies based on the combination of time series analysis and artificial neural networks; and create automated systems based on the newly developed methodologies.

  The position is a one-year contract funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The fellowship may be extended for an additional year, depending on performance and availability of funds.

  This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of BRL 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity. The implementation of the grant is subject to the approval of the selected candidate by FAPESP.
