  • Resumo Summary

    A candidata ou o candidato deverá trabalhar em projeto de pesquisa relacionado com grupos de tranças, espaços de configurações e aplicações. Dentro do escopo do Projeto Temático “Topologia Algébrica, Geométrica e Diferencial” (Processo FAPESP 2022/16455-6), sediado no IME-USP.

    A candidata selecionada ou o candidato selecionado terá vínculo com o programa de pós-doutorado do Departamento de Matemática da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), sob supervisão do Prof. Dr. Pedro Luiz Queiroz Pergher, um dos pesquisadores principais do Temático. A bolsa terá uma duração de 36 meses, podendo ser renovada dentro dos critérios da FAPESP.

    A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 12.000,00 mensais (em vigor a partir de 01/08) e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

    The candidate will work on a research project related to braid groups, configuration spaces and applications within the scope of the Thematic Project entitled “Algebraic, Geometric and Differential Topology”, hosted by the University of São Paulo's Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME-USP) in Brazil and funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through grant number 2022/16455-6.

    The fellow will be linked to the post-doctoral program of the Mathematics Department of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), where he/she will work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Pedro Luiz Queiroz Pergher, co-principal investigator for the Thematic Project.

    The grant will last 12 months and may be renewed according to FAPESP criteria.

    This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly (in force starting August 1st) and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
