Resumo
Summary
Início das atividades (previsão): abril de 2017.The aim of this proposal is to characterize the pathophysiological profile and neuroinflammation in the brain and spinal cord of female, C57BL / 6 wildtype or knockout mice for thymet oligopeptidase and / or neurolysine, in the progression and cognitive impairment of EAE. As a multidisciplinary proposal, the candidate is expected to combine expertises in neuroscience and behavior, immunology and molecular biology and be team-oriented and lead scientific projects in the field. It is essential that the candidate has extensive experience in genotyping techniques, cloning and production of viral vectors, primary cell culture, molecular biology techniques (eg real-time PCR and CHiP), manipulation and animal behavior analysis. Advanced knowledge in animal behavior analysis software (eg Anymaze and Ethovision) and biostatistics is desirable. The candidate must be available to reside in the city of São Paulo.
Subscriptions should be made exclusively by email, with the documentation attached. Email should be sent to Dr. Carolina Munhoz (cdmunhoz@usp.br), until March 12, 2017, with the subject: POS-DOC CANDIDATE. For subscription, please attach: 1) a motivational letter; 2) two reference letters; 3) CV with publications and evidence of the skills to conduct the project; 4) PhD Thesis Abstract.
The selection will be made through the curricular analysis of the candidates.
Start of activities: April 2017.
This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 6.819,30 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
