  Esta vaga em Química de Produtos Naturais será supervisionada pela Professora Vanderlan Bolzani para realização de projetos envolvendo ciclopeptídeos, focados em isolamento, elucidação estrutural, síntese e metabolômica visando estudar o efeito da expressão dessas moléculas e regulação de sua função entre órgãos vegetais, onde são biossintetizadas, além de investigar o impacto dessas moléculas na migração e citotoxicidade de células de câncer de mama.

  A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 9.047,40 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  Applications are open until April 8, 2024, for a post-doctoral fellowship to conduct research on Natural Products in Peptide Chemistry or Chemical Ecology at the Center for Natural Product Bioassays, Biosynthesis and Ecophysiology (NuBBE) lab affiliated with São Paulo State University's Institute of Chemistry (IQ-UNESP) in Araraquara, São Paulo state, Brazil.

  Enthusiastic and motivated candidates are invited to apply for a 12-month post-doctoral position, available for immediate start in March 2024, in the NuBBE group, with a competitive scholarship (R$ 9,047.40 monthly) plus benefits. This position in Chemical Science of Natural Products will be supervised by Professor Vanderlan Bolzani and consists of investigations regarding cyclopeptides which focuses on isolation, structural elucidation, synthesis and metabolomics in order to study the effect of the expression of these molecules and regulation of their function between plant organs where they are biosynthesized, as well as investigating the impact of these molecules on the migration and cytotoxicity of breast cancer cells.

  A PhD in Chemistry, Pharmacy or a similar field is required. Previous knowledge of synthesis and natural products is recommended.
