  O CENTD (Centro de Excelência na Descoberta de Novos Alvos) é um centro multidisciplinar que estuda alvos moleculares de doenças inflamatórias, com sede no Instituto Butantan e financiamento da FAPESP por meio do programa Centro de Pesquisa em Engenharia (CPE), em conjunto com a GSK. O centro oferece vaga de pós-doutorado (24 meses) para desenvolvimento de projeto que visa estudar a ligação de proteínas-alvo com peptídeos anti-inflamatórios; elaborar estruturas de anticorpos biespecíficos, multivalentes ou fragmentos; expressar essas estruturas e realizar ensaios funcionais. As inscrições encerram em 15/03/2024.

  O candidato deve ter obtido o título de doutor há menos de sete anos, sólida experiência em biologia molecular, bioquímica e imunologia de anticorpos. É desejável experiência com cultura celular e bioinformática.

  A oportunidade está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros e a pessoa selecionada receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ R$ 9.047,40 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

  The Centre of Excellence in New Target Discovery (CENTD) is a multidisciplinary center that studies molecular targets of inflammatory diseases, hosted by the Butantan Institute in São Paulo (Brazil) and funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through its Engineering Research Centers (ERCs) program in partnership with GSK. CENTD is offering one post-doctoral position (24 months) to develop a research project with the aim of studying the binding of target proteins with anti-inflammatory peptides; deploying structures of bispecific, multivalent antibodies or fragments; expressing these structures; and performing functional assays. Registration closes on March 15, 2024.

  The candidate must have obtained a doctorate less than seven years ago, solid experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and antibody immunology. Experience with cell culture and bioinformatics is desirable.

  The opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality and the selected person will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral Scholarship in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 per month and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover unforeseen expenses and directly related to research activity.
