  • Resumo Summary

    Trata-se de vaga de pós-doutorado vinculada ao projeto Jovem Pesquisador Fase 2 que tem como objetivo identificar fatores gonadais que regulam o nicho de células-tronco espermatogoniais. Análises de single cell RNAseq e abordagens funcionais in vivo e in vitro serão empregadas utilizando o lambari do rabo-amarelo (Astyanax lacustris) e zebrafish (Danio rerio) como modelos animais.

    Os candidatos deverão ter experiência em biologia molecular, cultura celular, histologia e imunofluorescência. Desejável experiência com hibridização in situ e bioinformática. Além disso, devem ter capacidade para trabalhar de forma independente e em equipe, além da fluência em inglês.

    A vaga está aberta a brasileiros e estrangeiros. O selecionado receberá Bolsa de Pós-Doutorado da FAPESP no valor de R$ 9.047,40 mensais e Reserva Técnica equivalente a 10% do valor anual da bolsa para atender a despesas imprevistas e diretamente relacionadas à atividade de pesquisa.

    This is a post-doctoral position linked to a project which aims to identify gonadal factors that regulate the spermatogonial stem cell niche. Analyses of single-cell RNA sequencing and in vivo and in vitro functional approaches will be employed using the yellowtail lambari (Astyanax lacustris) and zebrafish (Danio rerio) as animal models.

    The research project is funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation via its Young Investigator - Phase 2 program and hosted by the São Paulo State University's Botucatu Institute of Biosciences (IBB-UNESP) in Brazil.

    Candidates should have experience in molecular biology, cell culture, histology, and immunofluorescence. Experience with in situ hybridization and bioinformatics is desirable. Additionally, they should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as fluency in English.

The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from FAPESP in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 per month, along with a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship value to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to research activities.
