Maria Lucia Zaidan Dagli

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1983), Residency in Animal Pathology at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the USP (1984 -1986), Masters (1989) and PhD (1994) by the Graduate Program in Experimental and Comparative Pathology of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo. Postdoctoral studies at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), Lyon, France (1997-2000).

She is a Full Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo (since 2004) and researcher 1A of CNPq (since 2006). She is a member (since 2006) and vice-president (2014-2018) of the National Technical Biosafety Commission (CTNBio). She is an advisor and was president (2012-2017) of the Post-Graduation Committee of the Interunits in Biotechnology Program of USP, Butantan and IPT. She is also advisor of the Post-Graduation Program in Oncology of the Faculty of Medicine of USP / ICESP. She coordinates the Research Support Center in Veterinary Oncology, NAP-ONCOVET, at the University of São Paulo.

She has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis on Animal Pathology, Toxicologic and Experimental Pathology, and Veterinary Oncology.
