Douglas Eduardo Zampieri

Adjunct Panel - Research for Innovation

He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas (Unicamp) (FEC, 1972) and obtained his PhD in Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany (1981). He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Applied Sciences Regensburg, Germany (1992) and at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany (2003). He was a full-time faculty member at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Unicamp from 1973 to 2003. Since 2004, he has been a voluntary collaborating professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Unicamp.

He was the Director of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Unicamp (1994-1998) and the Executive Director of the Office for Dissemination and Technological Innovation at Unicamp (1998-2002). He was part of the Coordination of Engineering III at CAPES (1989-1999) and the Coordination of Engineering at FAPESP (1984-1988).

He has experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Solid Mechanics, mainly focusing on the following topics: Mechatronics and Robotics, Vibrations and Control, Vehicle Dynamics, Autonomous Navigation based on Monovision.
