FAPESP and University of Southern California issue call for proposals

São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and University of Southern California (USC) issue a Public Call for Proposals for the support of research projects involving the exchange of researchers under the Scientific Cooperation Agreement between the institutions.

The Call is open to full-time faculty at the University of Southern California and researchers affiliated to Higher Education and Research Institutions in the State of São Paulo, who are Principal Investigators of ongoing research projects funded by FAPESP within the following schemes: Regular Research Awards, Thematic Projects, Young Investigators, or Research, Innovation and Dissemination Centers (CEPIDs/RIDCs.

The activities foreseen in this project should start while the researcher holds a FAPESP research grant related to the activities of this Call for Proposals. The maximum duration of each project is 12 months, non-extendable.

This Call for Proposals invites research proposals in all fields of knowledge. The closing date for submission of proposals is June 29, 2012. 

FAPESP will provide funding of up to US$10,000 per proposal and per year and the University of Southern California will provide funding of up to US$10,000 per proposal and per year, for the period established in the award, to cover reasonable research-related expenses including travel expenses.
