The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the University of Texas at Austin (UTexas), United States, announce the result of the second call for joint research projects under the scientific cooperation agreement between the institutions. Three proposals were selected.

The aim is to strengthen collaboration between researchers affiliated with UTexas and researches affiliated with higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo, in all fields of knowledge.

UTexas is prepared to fund the projects with a total of up to US$ 30,000 per project/per year. FAPESP is also prepared to fund for the equivalent amount of up to US$ 30,000 per project/per year. The maximum project duration is 24 months.
