Raghuvir Krishnaswamy Arni

Obtained his BSc and MSc degrees from the Technische Universität Berlin and his PhD in crystallography jointly from the Technische Universität Berlin and the Freie Universität Berlin. Research associate: at the Department of Physics, USP, São Carlos; the Biological Structures Division at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg and at the Department of Chemistry, Michigan State University. Served as a visiting associate professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Michigan State University, E. Lansing.

Is currently a full professor at the Multiuser Center for Biomolecular Innovation, Department of Physics, IBILCE/Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), São Jose do Rio Preto. CNPq research scholar level 1A. 

Research focus in biochemistry and biophysics with emphasis on the structures and mechanisms of enzymes, principally those from Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, Staphylococcus aureus and from snake and spider venoms.
