FAPESP announce result of call for proposals with UK Academies Versão em português
The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the Academy of Medical Sciences, the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society of the United Kingdom announce the result of a call for proposals.
The call aims to support UK scientists as visitors, or, in the case of FAPESP, also as young-investigators willing to start their scientific carreers in São Paulo. In Brazil, the call was also supported by the National Council for the State Funding Agencies (CONFAP) and the State Funding Agencies (FAPs).
The UK Academies will offer Newton International Fellowships and Newton Advanced Fellowships to the Brazilian research community.
In the State of São Paulo, the call is open for UK researchers to visit research groups in São Paulo, up to 12 months.
FAPESP will also offer an opportunity for young investigators from the UK to start a research career in a university or research institution in the State of São Paulo through its Young Investigator Awards.
