Each proposal should have two principal investigators – one affiliated to a São Paulo State higher education or research institution, and the other linked to one of the 84 Max Planck Institutes (MPIs). However, principal investigators must first consult their parts about their eligibility by November 12th. On one hand, the São Paulo State PI must reach FAPESP through SAGe; on the other, German PIs must have a letter of institutional commitment (see annex in the call’s text) signed by a MPI Director

Applications must be submitted to FAPESP under the scheme of its Regular Research Grant. Exceptions are detailed in the call’s text.
