FAPESP announces the result of an opportunity launched for researchers associated to higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo to partner with researchers from the United States requesting support to the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Partnership for International Research and Education (PIRE) program.

PIRE is an NSF-wide program that supports international activities across all disciplines and catalyzes high-level international engagement in the U.S. science and engineering community.

The primary goal of PIRE is to support high quality research and education projects where international collaboration enables advances that no one side could accomplish on its own.
