FAPESP and West Virginia University (WVU), United States, announce a call for proposals to select and fund collaborative projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Social Sciences (Economics, Psychology, Sociology etc).

The opportunity is launched under the terms of the scientific cooperation agreement between the institutions. Proposals must be jointly written by researchers formally associated with public or private higher education or research institutions in the State of São Paulo and researchers from WVU.

Applicants from the State of São Paulo must meet FAPESP’s eligibility requirements for Regular Research Awards. Researchers who already hold ongoing Regular Research Awards are not eligible.

FAPESP and WVU will each provide funding of up to US$ 30,000 per proposal, per year, for the duration of the grant (up to two years). A maximum of three proposals will be approved.

Proposals and additional documents must be submitted both to FAPESP and to WVU. Proposals submitted to only one party will not be considered.

Submissions to FAPESP must be sent exclusively through SAGe System

The closing date for submissions is March 19, 2018.
