William Roberto Wolf

Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at University of Campinas (Unicamp) where he coordinates the Laboratory of Aeronautical Sciences.

Obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with major in aeronautics from the University of São Paulo at São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC-USP) in 2003 and his Master's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering at Technological Institute of Aeronautics in 2006. In 2011, he obtained his PhD in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University and until 2012 worked as a post-doctoral researcher and research associate at Institute of Aeronautics and Space (IAE) and Stanford University, respectively.

William Wolf is a CNPq research fellow and his research interests include high-fidelity numerical simulation and reduced order modeling of turbulence, aeroacoustics and unsteady aerodynamics. Since 2013, he has coordinated a FAPESP Young Researcher Project and several projects funded by international agencies and companies such as the US Army Research Office and The Boeing Company.
