The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) announces the result of a call for proposals launched in 2019 with the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).

Two projects are selected for the development of scientific collaborations between researchers from the State of São Paulo and the Kingdom of Netherlands under the proposed theme of “Healthy Aging”.

More specifically, the call aimed at supporting research for deep understanding of the biological determinants of the heterogeneity of the ageing process, developing instruments to allow stratification of target groups, while maximizing the functional capacity, independence, and quality of life of older persons.
