Contact tracing and lockdown easing plan: Effectiveness X Limitations
JULY 1st, 2020 - 10:00 am (UTC - 03:00)
Scientists around the globe are developing protocols for a safer social and economic reopening after social distancing due to COVID-19.
A number of articles have argued that contact tracing is critical to lift social distancing measures. In the 3rd episode of FAPESP Webinars on COVID-19, specialists will debate how effective and how limited it is to base a reopening easing plan on contact tracing.
Challenges of applying contact tracing in Nigeria, Mexico, USA and Brazil and the implication of the use of technology to do so will be on the table for discussion.
