FAPESP announces call with Research Foundation – Flanders Versão em português

Researchers from the State of São Paulo and from Flanders can submit proposals in all areas of knowledge.

FAPESP and the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO), from Belgium, announce a new call for proposals. This is the third opportunity for scientific, bilateral cooperation launched jointly by the institutions since they signed a collaboration agreement in 2018.

The aim of this call is to support collaborative projects between researchers from the state of São Paulo and researchers from Flanders in any scientific domain, as long as it covers basic scientific research.

Projects submitted must propose a balanced partnership, not specifically in monetary terms, but with equivalent research commitment and efforts from both sides. The approved projects will have a duration of three years.

Eligibility criteria for FAPESP proposals follow the scheme of Regular Research Grants.

Researchers from the state of São Paulo must consult FAPESP, by email, about their eligibility before starting the preparation of their proposals. The deadline for eligibility consultations is May 1st, 2021.

Eligible candidates may submit complete proposals via the SAGe platform until June 1st, 2021.

The full text of the call for proposals is available at www.fapesp.br/14783.
