Opportunity, aimed at experienced researchers residing abroad, provides support for establishing ties with São Paulo institutions and an International Thematic Grant for conducting bold and multidisciplinary projects; the deadline for complete proposals is September 28.

FAPESP announces the 23 pre-proposals deemed eligible in the InTheGra call, aimed at researchers who are outside Brazil.

The call anticipates the final result of selecting proposals in various areas of knowledge, which will receive funding through the International Thematic Grant (InTheGra) for the creation of innovative research groups. The call prioritizes high-quality projects with well-structured plans and strategies, aiming for the advancement of science developed in the state of São Paulo. Lasting up to 60 months, the project must be conducted in a host institution that will provide all necessary administrative and infrastructure support to ensure its implementation.

Selected proponents will be entitled to a scholarship valid for up to 24 months, during which it is expected that the beneficiary will have obtained employment at a higher education and research institution in the state of São Paulo, as a tenured professor or visiting researcher. The scholarship is not renewable.

The list below includes the 22 pre-proposals selected that have already defined their host institution, with only one (01) remaining without a defined host institution in the state of São Paulo, which must identify a willing institution to host the research project and prepare the required documentation for submission of the complete proposal.

The deadline for submitting complete proposals ends on September 28. This call will select a maximum of twenty proposals.
