Opportunity to promote mobility and collaboration between researchers from São Paulo and the American university selected five proposals.
FAPESP announces the result of a call for proposals launched in partnership with Ohio State University (OSU), a university in the United States with which it has maintained a scientific cooperation agreement since 2013. Five proposals were approved.
The projects will be jointly conducted by a principal researcher affiliated with a higher education and research institution in the state of São Paulo, on one side, and by a researcher affiliated with OSU, on the other.
FAPESP and OSU will fund the research teams based in their respective territories under the category of seedcorn funding, characterized as initial funding to foster partnerships through short-term collaboration mechanisms – including mobility expenses, modest direct research costs, and the organization of workshops.
